Lab 1: \u201cRhythm in the body: walking as dance\u201d
Goal: Feel the music in your body and walk with intention, letting go of the idea of \u201cdoing the right step.\u201d
\u2013 Working on connection, axis, and embrace as tools to hear the rhythm
\u2013 Regular, syncopated, and paused walk: recognize and try them
\u2013 Rhythmic games with basic structures (walking, weight shifts, basic step)<\/div>\n

Lab 1: \u201cMusic changes my feet\u201d
Goal: Break away from fixed sequences and develop rhythmic improvisation
\u2013 Recognize musical structures (phrases, accents, syncopations)
\u2013 Take a known sequence and transform it using rhythm, direction, and pause
\u2013 Practice not completing the sequence, but responding creatively to the music<\/div>\n
Lab 2: \u201cFrom step to phrase: dancing with intention\u201d
Goal: Build musical phrasing through conscious dynamic variation
\u2013 Make a step slower, denser, or lighter according to musical phrasing
\u2013 Exercises to explore movement dynamics and silence as part of the dance
\u2013 Micro-improvisations using known elements adapted to musical intention<\/div>\n

Giancarlo Pastonchi \u2013 Energy. Sensitivity. Music.
\u201cTango is like a smile that opens our hearts to a sense of wonder; the depth it conveys has nothing to do with heaviness. On the contrary, it is filled with lightness and amazement.\u201d<\/div>\n
In 2008, I discovered tango, which shaped me both in dancing and in my understanding of tango music and culture, thanks to my teachers Marco Evola and Laura Mommi. I studied with them consistently, eventually becoming their assistant and later a teacher in the stable courses for the Scuola Traspi\u00e9.<\/div>\n
In December 2014, I co-founded the Associazione Alchimia with Emanuela Filippelli, with whom I have taught in Perugia and Montepulciano.<\/div>\n
I have studied with many teachers, but in greater depth with Javier Rodriguez, Maria Plazaola, Ricardo Viqueira, Carlitos Espinoza, and Osvaldo Roldan.<\/div>\n
Since 2022, I have been living in Milan, where I work as a teacher offering both group and private lessons and as a Tango DJ (TJ) in the city\u2019s milongas. One of my strengths is my ability to create cohesive groups of tango dancers. I teach not only the fundamental techniques but also promote the sharing of emotions and a sense of connection among my students, fostering a community of tango enthusiasts.<\/div>\n
My private lessons are highly tailored to the needs of each student. Every session is designed to address individual requirements, ensuring skill development and confidence in tango.
