Musical Structure of Tango Vals
Delve into the musical structure of Tango Vals. This technical journey will allow participants, regardless of their level, to develop greater rhythmic awareness and a more natural connection with the music.

12.30- 14.00 class 1: VALS Beginners and intermediate
(The intermediates in this class can participate for free if they also attend the waltz class on Sunday)
An encounter tailored for those new to Tango Vals or looking to strengthen their foundations. The fundamental figures of traditional tango will be adapted to the rhythm of the vals, focusing on simple and fluid movements<\/div>\n
14.30- 16.00 class 2: TANGO Beginners
Calesita: refine balance and connection in circular movement, discovering how to create harmony and continuity in the dance
Volcada Atr\u00e1s: work on trust and communication in the embrace, learning to manage changes of axis with elegance and control.<\/div>\n

13.30- 15.00 class 4: WORKSHOP TANGO \u201cOFF-AXIS\u201d
TANGO Intermediate-Advanced
Volcada Atr\u00e1s: For intermediate-advanced dancers, we will work on both sides, exploring changes of axis with greater depth and wider ranges, to enhance control and fluidity in complex movements.
Volcada Adelante: a refined and dynamic figure, perfect for enhancing your style and deepening your connection. The lesson will focus on managing the partner\u2019s weight with precision and fluidity to create harmonious movements. Emphasis will
be placed on the dialogue within the embrace, ensuring balance and mutual trust, while exploring ways to adapt the volcada to different musical interpretations for a more expressive and personalized dance

Giancarlo Pastonchi \u2013 Energy. Sensitivity. Music.
\u201cTango is like a smile that opens our hearts to a sense of wonder; the depth it conveys has nothing to do with heaviness. On the contrary, it is filled with lightness and amazement.\u201d<\/div>\n
In 2008, I discovered tango, which shaped me both in dancing and in my understanding of tango music and culture, thanks to my teachers Marco Evola and Laura Mommi. I studied with them consistently, eventually becoming their assistant and later a teacher in the stable courses for the Scuola Traspi\u00e9.<\/div>\n
In December 2014, I co-founded the Associazione Alchimia with Emanuela Filippelli, with whom I have taught in Perugia and Montepulciano.<\/div>\n
I have studied with many teachers, but in greater depth with Javier Rodriguez, Maria Plazaola, Ricardo Viqueira, Carlitos Espinoza, and Osvaldo Roldan.<\/div>\n
Since 2022, I have been living in Milan, where I work as a teacher offering both group and private lessons and as a Tango DJ (TJ) in the city\u2019s milongas. One of my strengths is my ability to create cohesive groups of tango dancers. I teach not only the fundamental techniques but also promote the sharing of emotions and a sense of connection among my students, fostering a community of tango enthusiasts.<\/div>\n
My private lessons are highly tailored to the needs of each student. Every session is designed to address individual requirements, ensuring skill development and confidence in tango.
